Roald Dahl was a British novelist, short story writer, and screenwriter. Born in north Cardiff, Wales, to Norwegian parents, Dahl served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, in which he became a flying ace and intelligence agent. Roald Dahl was one of the highly praised British authors, who used to write novels, short stories, and screenplays. Produced by the British Railway Board, I remember receiving a FREE copy of this when I was but a snotty nosed primary school kid (all pigtails and child-like 5/5(10).

I didn't know this book existed until a colleague mentioned it. Funny, enlightening and with a safety message that is timeless, Roald Dahl's guide to railway safety is now part of my collection of his works.5/5(1).
